Repairing a hydraulic system
An example of a turnkey project by CS which was entirely carried out under our own management. We installed air ducts in port on board the Oranjeborg during loading and unloading. The challenge for this project was to ensure the ship was not subject to any extra delays. This meant that we had to work with the ship's arrival and departure times. Over a number of dockings by the ship, we successfully completed the project this way.
From a crane belonging to the German company Bohlen & Doyen on board a cable trencher, we successfully disassembled cylinders at sea.
Working together with a specialist, we serviced and re-assembled the components.
We've also done our bit for Eemshaven's new quay by performing welding work on the quay wall structures. We built a structure here for testing ground anchors too.
Here we provide assistance in replacing an engine on board Jan & Titia Visser's lifeboat.
Using our own tower wagon and electricity supply we can act quickly for urgent work, such as here on board the Bourbon Skagerak.
A repair to a hydraulic system for which parts are no longer obtainable is resolved here by producing alternative parts on site, so that the ship could put to sea again on the same day.
